Procedure for the control of non maintenance work (i.e. capital development and improvements).

Within Estates Services the requests are reviewed weekly. Often the first process is to carry out a cost / feasibility study. This is to clarify exactly what the client wants and to identify the most effective solution. It is carried out by a P. & T. Officer and reviewed by the Estates Manager at his weekly meeting.

At this point the project can be classified. It is proposed that the projects be classified under three headings:-

  1. Fastrack
  2. Minor Capital
  3. Capital

Fastrack are simple projects with an estimated........
