FM Document Exchange

This section provides a forum for exchanging sample documents of interest to Healthcare Professionals, including policies, procedures, specifications, job descriptions.

The FM Document Exchange is not just a list of policy titles or a set of exemplar documents; it contains real policies and procedures and other documents that are already in use in NHS organisations and where necessary approved by a NHS Trust Board.

Joining the FM Document Exchange will save you time and money.

It has been estimated that the cost of producing a single procedure is between £2,000 and £6,000. On this basis documents with a value in excess of £1m are available by joining. Why haven’t you joined?

Membership of the FM Document Exchange is open to current HFC members only, and is valid for one year.

Searching for Documents

To search for Documents within the Exchange you can use the normal HFC Web Site search facility but restrict the search to FM Document Exchange pages of the web site by preceding your key word with “swapshop”. For example to search for documents related to Lone Working type “swapshop lone” into the search window. Alternatively, documents can be accessed through the chronological and category indexes provided.
